Extended Arms After School Program

Extended Arms After School Program

Our programs are designed to support our mission of creating innovative programming and are guided by our desire to educate, develop and professionalize all Extended Arms students. At our After School Program, we aim to bolster school time learning with 3 awesome program features:

Homework 2.0

Homework 2.0 is a unique program that was created in partnership with parents and teachers to gauge students academic proficiency through homework completion. Using a specialized rubric, we are able to thoroughly track our students’ performance in specific academic areas; identifying successes and opportunities along the way. We work diligently with parents and teachers to create individualized action plans that directly address any gaps… Daily homework assistance is offered and personal tutoring may be available upon request.

Clubs, Electives, & Activities

Our special clubs & electives are the cornerstone to the innovative programming that Extended Arms seeks to offer the community of Randolph; believing that academic achievement can be strengthened through participation in extracurricular activities. We offer a diverse selection of activities for our equally diverse students, and our activities promote inclusion, academic enrichment and social positivity. Clubs and electives include:

  • Hey Randolph! (Online Magazine)
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Student Government Association
  • Health & Fitness
  • Interactive Reading
  • Boys / Girls Discussion Groups
  • Music Review

And So Much More!!!!!

And Of Course, Good Ole’ Fashioned Play

We believe that a great deal of bonding happens when students are simply allowed to freely interact. We also recognize that physical activity has proven health benefits for youth including  a decreased rates of child obesity and positive mental health. We allow for daily, program wide physical activity and play time, allowing for open yet structured free time to supplement the disciplined academic and club activities. In our experience, this open yet structured free time helps to develop supportive relationships amongst all our students.
