Extended Arms was founded in 2010 under the vision and leadership of Founder and Executive Director Derrick Bell, birthed out of a desire to bring more out-of-school time programming options to the youth of Randolph. What began, humbly, as an eight-student program operating out of the Lyons Elementary School, has blossomed to serving over 300 children annually through our two after-school programs, summer camp, sports leagues, and academic services.

Having served seven years in the Randolph Public School system, Mr. Bell recognized the need for more after-school options that could serve the needs of the community by offering affordable high-quality programming that supports academic and social development. In addition to the after-school programs, Extended Arms has created the very popular Extended Arms Elementary Basketball League and in Summer of 2013 held the inaugural Camp E.A.R. (Extended Arms Randolph) that now serves over 100 children weekly.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed and we here at Extended Arms are committed to help support each of our students reach their fullest potential!
